Upholstery Cleaning
Keeping your upholstery clean is often
overlooked when considering household cleaning. Your lounge and other
upholstered items in your home are used much more than most other pieces
of furniture. The head, arm and leg areas of your lounge are
particularly susceptible to soiling from constant contact with bare
skin. Creams, fake tans in addition to regular oils and other
by-products excreted by skin cause staining and odours in your
lounge and other upholstered furnishings. We service Newcastle, Port
Stephens, Maitland, Singleton, Forster, Scone and Lake Macquarie.

We recommend
that you have your lounge cleaned every 12 months to keep it
fresh and clean. Clean up spills immediately, to prevent them
from bonding with fibres and creating a possible permanent
stain. The older the stain is, the less chance of being able to
remove it, so be sure to blot up excesses with a colour safe
cloth. be sure to follow your furniture manufacturers
instructions for cleaning and general care and maintenance of
your furniture item. Vacuum your upholstered furnishings on a
weekly basis to minimise the damage caused by dirt particles
rubbing against fabrics and leathers.
Plumping cushions regularly can
extend their lifespan by up to 20%. Once a week is suitable for
cushion plumping. You can also rotate cushions and seat pads to
ensure even distribution of traffic. Keep your upholstered
furnishings out of direct sunlight, away from heat sources and
keep children from jumping on them as all of these things reduce
the life of your furniture.
